Which China calculators are available on Finance Atlas?
Nineteen tools: seven loan and debt calculators (personal loan, general loan, affordability, amortization, early repayment, debt consolidation and credit card payment), four mortgage calculators, three vehicle calculators including the vehicle and EV purchase tax tools, three savings and growth calculators, and a take-home pay and budget calculator. They all work in Chinese yuan (CNY).
Do these calculators use the current Chinese interest rate?
No — by design. Chinese lending rates vary by lender, product and borrower, and they change with policy. You enter the annual interest rate your lender quotes; the pre-filled example rates are clearly labelled as illustrative examples only — NOT current Chinese market rates.
What currency do the China calculators use?
Chinese yuan (renminbi, CNY, ¥) — never Japanese yen. Every result states its currency, and the take-home pay calculator applies the statutory Individual Income Tax brackets and the social insurance percentages you set for your city.
Are the tax calculators official?
No. The vehicle purchase tax and EV relief calculators apply the statutory rates and periods from the Vehicle Purchase Tax Law and the MOF/STA/MIIT announcements to the figures you enter; the take-home pay calculator applies the Individual Income Tax Law brackets. They are educational estimates, not an official tax bureau determination.
Is anything I type sent to a server?
No. Every calculation runs locally in your browser. Nothing you type is transmitted, stored or logged.
