Singapore Finance Calculators SGD
By Chuck, Finance Atlas — Updated October 2026
Eleven free financial calculators for Singapore, in Singapore dollars (SGD, S$): personal loans, loan repayment schedules and affordability, debt consolidation, credit card instalment plans and revolving balances, mortgages, home affordability, car finance, savings and investment growth. Singapore's statutory context is built in — the MAS Total Debt Servicing Ratio and Mortgage Servicing Ratio, the bank-loan loan-to-value tiers, the OMV-based vehicle financing limits and the Moneylenders Act caps — and you enter the interest rate your bank, issuer, dealer or lender quotes. Singapore's financial rules are unusually explicit, which makes them straightforward to reflect as context. Property loans from financial institutions are screened against the MAS Total Debt Servicing Ratio — total monthly debt obligations capped at 55% of gross monthly income — while loans for HDB flats and executive condominiums must also respect the 30% Mortgage Servicing Ratio. A first housing loan from a financial institution is generally capped at a loan-to-value of 75%, with tighter LTV limits where the loan tenure exceeds 30 years — or 25 years for an HDB flat — or the loan extends beyond the relevant borrower age threshold. HDB concessionary loans carry their own 75% loan-to-value limit and 25-year maximum tenure, and are priced at a published margin above the CPF Ordinary Account interest rate.
On the credit side, licensed moneylenders registered with the Registry of Moneylenders may charge at most 4% per month under the Moneylenders Act, with late fees capped and additional income-based limits on unsecured borrowing. Vehicle financing turns on the car's Open Market Value: at or below S$20,000 the maximum loan is 70%; above it, 60% — with a maximum tenure of 7 years in both bands. Savings pages note that the Singapore Deposit Insurance Corporation covers up to S$100,000 per depositor per scheme member. Every rule appears as guidance and context — the numbers you enter remain yours, and the calculators never block a value you want to explore.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which Singapore calculators are available on Finance Atlas?
Eleven tools: five loan and debt calculators (personal loan, loan repayment, loan affordability, debt consolidation, and credit card), two mortgage calculators (repayment and home affordability), a car loan calculator, and three savings and growth calculators (savings, compound interest and investment growth). They all work in Singapore dollars (SGD).
Do these calculators use the current Singapore interest rate?
No — by design. Singapore lending rates vary by lender, product and borrower, and they move with policy and competition. You enter the annual interest rate your bank, issuer, dealer or lender quotes; the pre-filled example rates are clearly labelled as illustrative examples only — NOT current Singapore market rates.
What currency do the Singapore calculators use?
Singapore dollars (SGD, S$) — every result states its currency. Instalments and per-period figures show cents, the way bank statements do, while larger amounts are rounded to whole dollars.
Do the calculators follow Singapore rules?
Where rules exist, they are built in as context: the MAS Total Debt Servicing Ratio (55% of gross monthly income), the 30% Mortgage Servicing Ratio for HDB flats and executive condominiums, the 75% first-housing-loan loan-to-value framework with its tenure-linked tighter limits, the MAS vehicle financing rules that turn on the car's Open Market Value, the Moneylenders Act caps, and SDIC deposit insurance coverage. They are educational estimates, not credit decisions — your lender's terms govern.
Can these calculators tell me what a bank will approve?
No. Approval depends on the lender's own credit assessment, income documentation and internal policies. The affordability tools compute what a repayment-to-income ceiling supports mathematically, which is a useful sanity check before you apply — not a pre-approval.
Is anything I type sent to a server?
No. Every calculation runs locally in your browser. Nothing you type is transmitted, stored or logged.
