What to include in your email.
Reporting an error or inaccuracy
Include the page URL, what you believe is incorrect, and any source or reference that supports your correction. We do not take accuracy lightly and will investigate every report. If the error is confirmed, we will update the content and credit the correction if you wish.
Suggesting a new tool or calculator
Tell us what the tool would calculate or help with, and why it would be genuinely useful. Good tool suggestions usually solve a real problem: something you had to work out by hand, something you could not find a clear answer to, or something that requires multiple steps that could be automated. We have a backlog of tool ideas and prioritise based on community demand.
Suggesting a new guide or article
Let us know the topic and any specific questions you want the guide to answer. The best guide suggestions are specific: not “write about planted tanks” but “I cannot find a clear guide on dosing liquid fertiliser in a low-tech setup”. The more specific you are, the more useful the resulting article will be.
General feedback
Anything at all — we read every message. If the stocking calculator helped you avoid a disaster, if a guide finally explained something that had been confusing you for months, or if something on the site does not work properly on your device, we genuinely want to know.
Common questions.
Are all the tools really free? No catch?
Completely free, no catch. No sign-up, no payment tier, no premium version. All Tank Logic tools are free for everyone. The site is supported by display advertising through Google AdSense. You may see ads in certain areas of the page — that is how we cover our running costs.
How quickly do you respond to emails?
We aim to respond within 2–3 business days. For urgent issues — such as a calculator producing clearly wrong results — we try to respond same day. If you have not heard back within five days, please send a follow-up.
Do you accept guest posts or sponsored content?
No. We do not accept guest posts, sponsored articles, or paid product placements. All content on Tank Logic is written and reviewed by our own team. This is not a policy we make exceptions to.
Can I link to Tank Logic from my website or video?
Yes — please do. Links to our tools or guides from aquarium blogs, YouTube channels, forums, or social media are always welcome and genuinely appreciated. You do not need to ask permission to link. If you want to reproduce our written content, please contact us first.
I asked a fishkeeping question — will you answer it?
We will do our best. We are not a full-time support service, but if you have a specific fishkeeping question that our guides do not already cover, we will try to point you in the right direction. Questions that come up repeatedly often turn into new guides.
What we do not do.
Tank Logic does not sell advertising directly, accept sponsored content, write reviews in exchange for products, or generate affiliate income from our recommendations. Our tool results and article content are not influenced by any commercial relationship.
